Bia Herbst
RIO DE JANEIRO, 1982
She is a photographer and cinematographer from Rio de Janeiro, with a postgraduate degree in Photography and Image from IUPEJ/UCAM, and also trained at the International Film Academy in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, the Latin American Film Institute in São Paulo, Ateliê da Imagem, and Casa Fotografia. She worked as a photography assistant and was mentored by great photographers and art theorists such as Fabian Albertini, Lúcio Kodato, Márcio Scavone, Fábio Seixo, Greice Rosa, among others. She was part of the Onze-17 collective and exhibited some of her works in Brazil and England. Currently, Bia splits her time between Italy and Brazil.

More than presenting delightful aesthetics, I strive to obliterate my vanities to find a je ne sais quoi that enchants and provokes reflections, as well as conveys a promising message.
